The short version

WristGuide uses cookies for one thing: anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics. If you are in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, we ask first, and the site works the same whatever you choose. We never use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

What the site stores

Strictly necessary (always on):

• sw_lang (local storage): remembers your language. Stays on your device, never transmitted.
• wg_consent (cookie, 6 months, EEA/UK/CH visitors only): remembers your analytics choice so we don't ask on every page.

Analytics (consent required in the EEA/UK/CH):

• _ga (cookie, 2 years): Google Analytics 4, distinguishes visitors anonymously.
• _ga_<container-id> (cookie, 2 years): Google Analytics 4, keeps session state.

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your IP address. We use it only for aggregate statistics: how many visits, which pages, which countries. WristGuide does not use Google advertising features. We are verifying the Google signals and optional data-sharing settings in our analytics account.

Advertising / cross-site tracking: none.

Your choice

Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent banner on their first visit. Accept starts analytics; Reject keeps it off. Either way the site works identically. Change your choice any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer; the banner reappears and your new choice applies immediately. After 6 months we ask again.

Visitors elsewhere: analytics runs as part of the normal operation of the site, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Third parties your browser contacts

• Cloudflare delivers the site and processes standard connection data as our hosting provider.
• Google provides analytics (GA4) and delivers font files. Fonts requests transmit your IP address to Google but, per Google, are not used to set tracking cookies.

When you click a buy link you leave WristGuide; the retailer's cookie practices are its own.
