What separates these two

Two compact AMOLED lifestyle watches with standard GPS and no maps or cellular. The Vivoactive 5 lists up to 11 days of battery against up to 5 on the Ignite 3, HRV tracking the Polar lacks, an SOS feature, Garmin Pay, 5ATM water resistance against the Polar's 3ATM, and a listed 36-gram weight. The Ignite 3 answers with a 30-hour GPS figure in its battery label, a figure the Garmin label does not carry. On listed specifications the Ignite 3 does not counter beyond that; both list heart-rate and SpO2 tracking and both work with iPhone and Android.
